アニエスベー ギャラリー ブティックは、3月9日(土)から4月7日(日)まで、写真家・大矢真梨子の個展「La lumière」を開催します。
大矢はこれまでに、自己の記憶と向き合いながら、湧き上がる感情を「光」として表現した作品を発表してきました。教会のステンドグラスから漏れる光や、閉ざされた薄暗い室内にひそやかに広がる光など、大矢のレンズを通して捉えた過去の作品群は、重層的な感情を呼び覚ますものでした。本展は、自然界のはかない美しさとその中に息づく強靭な生命力へと対象を見出した、未公開作品を含む29点と映像作品で構成されます。大矢は、光を柔らかく捉えることで、フォルムの輪郭を溶かし、対象を夢幻的に写しながらも、影の先にある光を確かな存在として可視化します。ひとつひとつにタイトルは付されないこれらの作品たちは、現実を超える圧倒的な光の美しさで、観るものを内省と想像の世界へと誘います。
アニエスベー京都BAL店のアートウォールでも、本展と同名の展示が開催中です。青山ギャラリーの展示と合わせて、大矢真梨子の「彩生」の世界をご覧ください。
アーティストステートメント
いつからか、写真が私自身の苦しみを救う希望のひとつとなった。
心の中の暗闇に光が差す感覚は、撮ることでしか体現できない。
自分に足りない明かりを取り込み、自らを「彩生」していく。
やがて、光という儚い存在が、私を支える確かなものとして立ち上がってきた。
大矢 真梨子
写真家。日本大学芸術学部写真学科卒業、日本大学芸術学研究科 映像芸術専攻博士前期課 程修了。 自身の記憶と対峙し、内に秘めた光景を独自の色彩感覚で表現する作品を発表している。 近年の展示、『「elective affinities」展 PartI 』(2023、 アニエスベー ギャラリー ブテ ィック・東京)、『東京好奇心 2020 渋谷』(2020、 Bunkamura・東京)、『更級日記考 女性たちの、想像の部屋』(2019、 市原湖畔美術館・千葉)、『民藝 MINGEI -Another Kind of Art 』(2018-19, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT ・東京)、 など様々な企画展に参加。 パブリックコレクション、ヴァンジ彫刻庭園美術館。
アニエスベー京都BAL店
アニエスベーのデザイナー、アニエス・トゥルブレが深い愛情を寄せるバラの花を撮影した作品を中心に、100点ほどの作品を展示しています。3月1日(金)より、展示作品の一部がチャリティー販売され、能登半島地震で被災した子どもたちへの支援金として寄付される予定です。詳しくは店舗スタッフまでお問い合わせください。

チャリティーの報告
アニエスベー京都BAL店で開催された大矢真梨子の『La lumière』展(2024年3月1日−4月12日)のチャリティー販売を通じて、合計63,300円が集まりました。
2024年1月19日にアニエスベーギャラリーブティック(東京・青山)で行われたチャリティーイベントに引き続き、今回の販売で集まった総額は子ども支援専門の国際NGOセーブ・ザ・チルドレンに寄付し、能登半島地震で被災した子どもたちの支援活動金として活用されます。
期間中、店頭スタッフに温かい言葉をいただき、この活動へのご協力を賜りましたすべてのお客様に、そしてアーティストの大矢真梨子さんに心からの感謝を申し上げます。

Agnès b. galerie boutique will be holding photographer Mariko Ohya’s solo exhibition “La lumière” from Saturday, March 9th to Sunday, April 7th.
Mariko Ohya has presented works that express emotions that arise as “light” while confronting her own memories so far. In her past works, the light that filters through the stained glass windows of a church, or the light that spreads silently in a closed and dimly lit room are captured through her lens, evoking multilayered emotions.
This exhibition is composed of 29 works, including previously unpublished works and video works that focus on the ephemeral beauty of the natural world and the strong life force that lives within it.
By softly capturing light, she blurs the outlines of forms and presents the subject in a dreamlike state, also making visible the light that lurks beyond shadows as a tangible presence. Untitled, these works draw the viewer into a realm of introspection and imagination with the overwhelming beauty of light that transcends reality.
An exhibition with the same title as this exhibition is currently being held at the art wall of the agnès b. Kyoto BAL store. We invite you to explore Mariko Ohya’s world “Saisei” (reborn through colors), alongside the exhibition at Aoyama Gallery.
Artist Statement
At some point, photography became a source of hope to relieve my own suffering. Through photography, I could experience the feeling of light shining into the darkness of my heart. I took in the light that I lack and brought myself to life (“Saisei”). Eventually, the ephemeral existence of light rose up as something certain to support me.
Mariko Ohya
Photographer. Graduated from the Department of Photography, Nihon University College of Art, and completed the master’s program in Media Art, Graduate School of Art, Nihon University. She presents works confronting her own memories and expressing hidden scenes within her using her unique sense of color. She recently participated in various exhibitions including “Elective Affinities Exhibition Part I” (2023, agnès b. galerie boutique, Tokyo), “Tokyo Curiosity 2020 Shibuya” (2020, Bunkamura, Tokyo), “The Sarashina Diary Thoughts: Women’s Imagination Room”
(2019, Ichihara Lakeside Museum of Art, Chiba), “MINGEI -Another Kind of Art” (2018-19, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, Tokyo), etc. Public Collection: Vangi Sculpture Garden Museum.
Agnès b. kyoto BAL store
Around 100 works are on display on the store walls, focusing mainly on photographs of roses, a flower for which the designer of agnès b., Agnès Troublé, feels a deep love. Starting March 1st, some of the exhibited works will be sold for charity and donated to support children affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Please contact the staff for more details.
